Floppy disks are past history.  The quickest, easiest, and coolest way to transport files and documents is with removable storage devices.  Pen drives are getting cheaper every day.

I keep a pen drive with me most of the time.  I work on documents at home that I want to take to school and visa versa.  I have been using pen drives for years and have never had an error.  (I have quit using floppy disks entirely.)

Pen drives have flooded the market in the past few months.  They have no moving parts, so there is not much to go wrong.  You might want to do a search for the model that is right for you.  Click on the SEARCH button to do a quick search of storage devices.

- I like this particular pen drive because it is FAST, CHEAP, and has enough memory for most of my documents.
- The device is USB 2.0 enabled so it will transfer files a zillion times faster than USB 1.1.  (If your computer is USB 2.0 compatible.)
- But... like most USB 2.0 pen drives, this device is backward compatible with USB 1.1
